Abound Health is seeking compassionate, dependable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in her home in West Middlesex, PA. As a DSP, you will provide individualized support that helps the client live safely, independently, and with dignity. This position is ideal for someone patient, reliable, and passionate about helping others thrive.
Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
Assist with recreational and community activities
Follow treatment plans and document progress
Provide companionship and respite care
Submit documentation and payroll on time
Participate in ongoing training
Assist with personal care needs as required
Work independently in a home setting
Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Valid drivers license and active car insurance
Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
At least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass background checks
Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed
$19.50 per hour
$1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates

$333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)
$333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)
$334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week)
Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months.
