Abound Health PA, LLC is seeking a Program Specialist to join our team in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will report to the Program Director. The Program Specialist provides oversight and support for individuals receiving Pennsylvania Waiver or Base Funded Services in unlicensed programs, including In-Home and Community Support (IHCS). This role supports quality service delivery, staff supervision, ISP implementation, documentation, and coordination of services.
Oversee client services, documentation, and records to ensure compliance with applicable ODP requirements.
Supervise and support direct care staff, including performance evaluations, development, training, and scheduling.
Participate in ISP meetings and support implementation of client goals, task analyses, and interventions.
Complete assessments, progress reports, service documentation, and incident reports as required.
Monitor service utilization, billing, staffing coverage, and service authorizations.
Ensure client-specific training is completed and provide guidance to direct care staff.
Support clients and families with accessing appropriate community resources and services.
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
College degree is not required; relevant human services coursework or education is preferred.
Knowledge of ISP implementation, task analysis, goal writing, and documentation practices.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
Meet applicable ODP training and qualification requirements for assigned unlicensed services.
Valid driver's license, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and required vehicle documentation.
Ability to successfully complete required background and health and safety clearances.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Coursework or a degree in human services, social work, psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
This position works in administrative offices, client homes, and community settings, including libraries, parks, shopping areas, and day programs. Travel throughout the assigned region is expected.
Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment. Additionally, our 401(k) plan becomes available after 12 months of employment.
