FP&A Manager

Job Description:

The FP&A Manager will play a critical role in supporting our organization's growth by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic recommendations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. The FP&A Manager will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Productivity Projects:
    • Identify, initiate, and manage productivity improvement projects across various departments.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve productivity.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Own the budgeting process, including the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of budgets.
    • Lead financial projections based on runrate performance.
    • Partner with department heads to ensure alignment of budgets with strategic goals.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
    • Manage acquisition/integration performance tracking
    • Precision in analyzing data and preparing reports to ensure accuracy
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
    • Communicate financial performance and key metrics to stakeholders.
    • Support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Team management
    • Manage and develop supporting team
  • Flexibility & Problem Solving
    • Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and financial requirements
    • Developing innovative solutions to financial and data challenges.
    • Proactive in anticipating potential challenges and planning accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, business finance, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of leading productivity improvement projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
  • Experience managing a team

Nice to have Experience and Qualifications:

  • Data Analytics Function:
    • Experience in overseeing a data analytics function, including the development and management of data analytics strategies.
    • Ability to leverage data analytics to drive business insights and improve financial performance.
  • M&A Experience:
    • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, valuation, integration, and projections.
    • Ability to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and support the execution of M&A transactions.
  • Private Equity Associate Experience:
    • Experience as a private equity associate, including investment analysis and performance monitoring.
    • Strong understanding of private equity investment strategies and financial modeling.
