Pay: $18/hour + $1,000 Signing Bonus

Abound Health is looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Mercer County. This position provides one-on-one care for a female client in West Middlesex, PA, helping her live a safe, fulfilling, and independent life.

About the Role

As a DSP, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals reach their goals and enjoy life to the fullest. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living needs such as showers, eating, and medication management
  • Supporting behavioral, social, and vocational development
  • Providing companionship and recreational engagement
  • Documenting progress and following treatment plans
  • Working independently in home and community settings

Client Snapshot

Our client lives at home with her sister, grandmother, and nephew, along with one dog and one cat. She has a seizure disorder and requires full supervision. She is non-verbal but generally happy and engaging. Mobility support is needed, including lifting and wheelchair transport.

What We’re Looking For

  • Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
  • 1–2 years of caregiving experience
  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $18/hour
  • Signing Bonus: $1,000 (paid in installments over the first year with minimum 20 hours/week)
  • Weekly pay and flexible scheduling
