Abound Health is seeking a Residential Manager to join our team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will report to the Program Specialist and oversee daily residential operations, staff performance, and person-centered supports within the home. This position plays a key leadership role in ensuring quality care, compliance, and a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to individuals, promoting health, safety, and independence
Coordinate daily household operations and communication across all shifts
Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Ensure accurate documentation, service notes, and financial records
Maintain compliance with agency policies and 6100/6400 regulations
Participate in on-call rotation, including covering shifts when needed
Support staff training, onboarding, and required certifications
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Dependable, organized, and effective problem-solver
Ability to lead teams and foster a positive, supportive work environment
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional relevant training or certifications preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. Abound Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and wellness benefits beginning on the 60th day of employment, as well as a 401(k) plan available after 12 months of employment.
