Senior Accountant

Department: Accounting/Finance
Location: Charlotte, NC

Abound Health is seeking an Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will report to the Controller. You will support monthly financial reporting, strengthen accounting processes, and ensure compliance with company policies as our organization continues to grow. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-expanding company where you’ll directly contribute to process improvements and operational excellence. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days per week in-office at our Charlotte HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly general ledger entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring reconciling items are valid and properly accounted for.
  • Provide actionable insight based on balance sheet and GL reconciliation findings.
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects to support team and company goals.
  • Promote compliance with accounting policies and procedures to support timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes within the accounting function.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including lookups, pivots, and working with large data sets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing organization and adapt to evolving priorities and processes.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Compensation & Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is $80,000 – $95,000.

Base pay is determined by factors such as work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, total compensation may include various other forms of pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive health, dental, and wellness benefits, which begin on your 60th day of employment.
