Starting Pay: $16.50/hr

Abound Health is a trusted leader in providing compassionate, person-centered services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are seeking three reliable, caring, and motivated Drivers to join our team of Direct Support Professionals.

As a Driver with Abound Health, you will provide safe, respectful, and dependable transportation for individuals with IDD. You’ll help clients access day programs, appointments, and community activities—supporting their independence and quality of life. This is more than a driving role—you’ll be a trusted companion and an essential part of each person’s support team.
• Safely transport individuals to and from home, day programs, medical appointments, and community outings
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle as needed
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all passengers
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicles
• Follow daily route schedules and communicate proactively about delays or concerns
• Complete required documentation, including daily logs and incident reports
• Participate in initial and ongoing training
• Work independently in the community while adapting to changing needs
• Demonstrate patience, reliability, and attentiveness to individual needs
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks (criminal, driving record, healthcare registry)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (provided upon hire)
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers, depending on client needs
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of transportation experience preferred
Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
• 7:30–9:00 AM
• 2:00–5:00 PM
Tuesday:
• 7:30–9:00 AM
• 1:00–5:00 PM
Additional afternoon hours (1:00–5:00 PM) may become available as client needs increase.
Monday:
• 7:30–9:15 AM
• 2:00–5:30 PM
Tuesday:
• 7:30–9:15 AM
• 1:00–2:00 PM
• 3:30–5:30 PM
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
• 7:30–9:15 AM
• 3:30–5:30 PM
Monday–Friday:
• 6:30–9:00 AM
• 1:30–4:00 PM
• Weekly pay
