Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver – Residential Group Homes

We are actively seeking dedicated DSPs/Caregivers to provide In-Home & Community Support, Companion Services, Community Participation Support, and Respite Services within our Residential Group Homes.
Responsibilities
- Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational skill areas
- Support participation in leisure and recreational activities
- Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to families or primary caregivers
- Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development
- Maintain competency in required skills and responsibilities
- Work independently in the community and/or client homes
- Assist with personal care needs as required by individual clients
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Submit documentation and payroll information on time
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal background, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Ability to lift or assist with mobility needs depending on client requirements
- CPR/First Aid Certification (training provided by Abound Health)
- Experience working with individuals with I/DD preferred
- 1–2 years of caregiving experience preferred
Compensation
- $18.00 per hour
- $1,000 Signing Bonus for qualified candidates

Signing Bonus Details
- $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)
- $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)
- $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week)
- Applicant must not have been employed by Abound Health or any acquired companies within the past 18 months
- Not applicable for Residential Services
- Relative as Provider (RAP) hires are not eligible
