Abound Health is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an incredible woman who lives independently in her own apartment with the support of a caring, involved family and our dedicated team.
This is much more than a caregiving position. It's an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship while helping someone live the life she chooses in her own home and community.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
Every day is different, but your role may include:
- Providing transportation from her workplace in Whitehall to her home
- Going out for lunch, coffee, shopping, or community events
- Visiting parks, local attractions, or participating in hobbies
- Helping her attend appointments and activities
- Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks
- Encouraging healthy routines and personal goals
- Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
- Helping with daily living skills while promoting independence
- Supporting participation in fun community activities based on her interests
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, creating positive experiences, and helping another person live a full and meaningful life.

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to transport the individual from Whitehall to Macungie
- Ability to pass required background clearances
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is helpful but not required. Paid training is provided.
Anticipated Schedule
Monday – Wednesday
- 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Transportation required from her workplace in Whitehall to her home
Thursday – Sunday
